Strange Companions: Bramble Lee Pryde & Steve Pi

Strange Companions is a collaborative interdisciplinary residency by Bramble Lee Pryde and Steve Pi, working together under the moniker The Dooms. Expanding Pryde’s ongoing body of work, The Existential Dreadlings, the residency brings together sculpture, sound, installation, public programming, and an accompanying art deck with a field guide.

Throughout the residency, Sparrow Artspace will become a working field station where new sculptural works are shown while immersive sound, lore, and installation elements are built and activated over time. The residency includes cost-barrier-free workshops facilitated by Pryde and culminates in the unveiling of the Strange Companions Art Deck & Field Guide, alongside a collaborative soundscape activated at the closing reception.
